Tot School and Toddler Curriculum Made Easy!

This Tot School: Patriotic resource has everything you need for a week packed full of USA-themed fun and learning.

My tot school weekly plans are designed with the 2-3 year old child in mind. Every activity can be used at home with one or more children or adapted for use in a day care/preschool classroom. Tot school is all about exploring and learning together while exposing children to a variety of skills and concepts.

Features:

• Pre-academic skills:

Letter identification, identify name, write letters in name, one-to-one correspondence, number identification, counting, write numbers, sort by colors, identify colors, vocabulary development, and open-ended play.

• Fine motor skills:

Push objects into containers, cut with scissors, tear paper, glue with a glue stick, roll play dough, make stamps, scoop, fill, dump, roll play dough, cut with cookie cutters, and squeeze eye dropper

• Gross motor skills:

Balance, jump, swim, toss rings, hit objects with a paddle, throw a ball, and run

• Week at a glance:

See all 25 books/activities for the week on one convenient page. Every week includes 5 books, 5 fine motor activities, 5 gross motor activities, 5 snacks, and 5 sensory bins along with a few other activities you may want to try!

• Suggested Materials:

• Activity Pages:

Learning activity pages include everything you need to know to complete the activities for the week. Each learning category has a page with pictures, directions, materials, and goals so you know exactly what to do for each activity.

Preschool Curriculum Made Easy!

This Preschool: Patriotic resource has everything you need for a week packed full of patriotic themed learning and fun.

My preschool weekly plans are designed with the 3-4 year old child in mind. Every activity can be used at home with one or more children or adapted for use in a day care/preschool classroom. While we focus on specific math and literacy concepts each week, preschool is all about exploring and learning together. We focus more on exposure and less on mastering every concept, because they will all spiral back with the scope/sequence that we follow. And of course we incorporate lots of play and ways to make the learning fun!

Features:

• Literacy Skills:

Answering questions, identifying problem/solution, activating schema, visualizing the story, tracking print, identifying letters, identifying letter sounds, identifying name, writing letters, and expressing ideas in writing

• Math Skills:

Identifying numbers, writing numbers, counting sets of objects, measuring length, measuring weight, and measuring capacity

• Science Skills:

Experiment with engineering

• Fine Motor Skills:

Writing, letters and numbers, drawing detailed pictures, making stamps, drawing detailed pictures, coloring with crayons, rolling play dough, using tape, squeezing a glue bottle, peeling stickers, cutting with scissors, gluing with glue stick, and painting with a cotton swab

• Week at a glance:

See all 20 books/activities for the week on one convenient page. Every week includes 5 read aloud books with activities, 5 literacy activities, 5 math activities, and 5 sensory bins, science/social studies, and/or art activities. All activities are focused on specific learning goals that spiral throughout the year.

• Learning Goals:

Each week includes a letter/sound focus, read aloud comprehension, literacy, math, science/social studies, fine motor, and gross motor skills. The skills practiced each week are located on one convenient page for your reference as well as listed on the week at a glance, activity summary, and activity overview pages.

• Suggested Materials:
